Drew- Dr. Grant. He’s smart, adventurous, and unwilling to commit to long-term relationships. He also climbs trees well, can perform CPR under pressure, and has jokes when he’s around electric fences.
Curtis- Muldoon. He is an outdoorsman, a hunter, and generally all around bad dude. Also he is my profile picture on the authors page.
Matt- Dennis Nedry. “Scoop of chocolate, scoop of vanilla. Don’t waste my time.” Oh wait, that’s the wrong movie? Well, you really can’t go wrong with Wayne Knight Newman.
Josh- Hammond. I love how blind he is to the possible ill effects of this whole maniacal experiment. What do you mean hiring the misanthropic hacker with the shifty eyes was a bad idea?
Drew- The blood-sucking lawyer being plucked from the toilet.
Curtis- The introductory video when the guests arrive.
Matt- The Kitchen Scene. Quite possibly one of the most terrifying scenes in movie history, complete with a raptor politely using the door handle.
Josh- The T-Rex chase was euphoric when I was eight, but the scene where the cars stop (By the way, cars on tracks in a dinosaur amusement park: brilliant.) in front of the newly un-electrified T-Rex paddock is incredibly suspenseful.
Drew- “Maybe it’s the power trying to come back on.”
Curtis- “Bingo, Dino DNA!”
Matt- “Find Nedry! Check the vending machines!”
Josh- “If Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don’t eat the tourists.”
Favorite Fictional Island
Curtis- Azkaban. Dementors are some bad dudes.
Josh- The one where they hunt people in “The Most Dangerous Game.”
Favorite Dinosaur (not necessarily limited to dinosaurs in the movie)
Drew- Doyouthinkhesaurus Rex
Curtis- T-Rex, always has been always will be.
Matt- Brachiosaurus. You just can’t deny how awesome the brachiosaur(i?) were when you first saw them on the screen. Your first glimpse of dinosaurs in real life!
Josh- Triceratops, although it turns out now that they may never have existed, so my back up is the pterodactyl, solely for that silent p.
JP Jeep or JP Ford Explorer?
Drew- I’ll take the Explorer provided it comes with several sets of night vision goggles.
Curtis- Jeep. First because I like to say “I have a gas-powered Jeep” which is also a quote from the movie. I also like the mobility offered in non-track powered vehicle.
Josh- I just want a car that isn’t on a track. I’ll go with the Explorer, but I want one where the sun roof is a little more sturdy.
